Palestine
The war in the Gaza Strip has resulted in the destruction or disruption of numerous schools—with some converted into shelters—leaving thousands of students out of school and deprived of a stable learning environment. Amidst these ongoing conditions, the Zuhair Educational Center in the Strip faces financial and operational challenges that threaten its ability to continue providing education to secondary school students.
The project aims to support the Center’s operations and the continuation of classes—held in both morning and evening shifts—for a period of one year. This support covers the salaries of teaching and administrative staff, essential operating expenses, and the provision of necessary educational stationery and supplies. Such assistance enables students to continue their education and prepare for future academic stages, despite the difficult circumstances they are enduring.
The project aims to sponsor the education of 350 students, at an annual cost of 120 Bahraini Dinars per student.
