Greenhouse in Syria

Syria

The Greenhouse Farming Project aims to establish and equip agricultural greenhouses in northern Syria, providing a suitable environment for cultivating a variety of high-quality crops throughout the year. These greenhouses help protect crops from harsh weather conditions and agricultural pests, increasing productivity and enhancing the sustainability of agricultural production.

The project responds to the growing need to strengthen food security and improve livelihoods for vulnerable families in the targeted areas. It contributes to the availability of fresh agricultural products in local markets, creates employment opportunities within the agricultural sector, and improves beneficiaries’ income through the adoption of modern and more productive farming practices.

The project is expected to benefit approximately 350 individuals directly and indirectly.  The project is designed with a sustainable production model that generates recurring income from successive agricultural cycles.
